The set designer (designer of the set) or the scenographer, in agreement with the director and the production manager, design the various places where the shots will have to be carried out. The drawings concern a plan of the place where the various scenes take place, especially indoors, as well as a scale and three-dimensional drawing showing how the environment in a studio must be prepared. This will be used by the builders and rig technicians to prepare the actual scene in which the shooting will be carried out. Nowadays this job is done much easier and faster by computer graphics programs.
